Anthony Justin Zafra, an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) with the Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credentials is passionate on offering culturally competent mental health counseling and support. Obtaining his bachelor’s degree in the University of California, Riverside (UCR) in Psychology and equipped with the Masters of Science in Counseling from the California State University, San Bernardino, Anthony aims to mitigate stigma that revolves around the field of mental health counseling with a client centered approach. He has derived mainly with the background in education based on his experiences in higher education and the K-12 setting. He is the first in his family to represent the mental health community and provide knowledge on this field for his future generations to come. His praxis of counseling is based on the foundation of Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused therapy.

Ignited with the passion to provide and promote and safe and welcoming environment for all his clients, Anthony collaborates and builds strong rapport with his clients to ensure that they are being supported and empowered to promote their own personal growth and well-being.

With this, Anthony continues to services all his clients in the Inland Empire. His focus on providing evidence based mental health interventions and the commitment to provide a positive impact to other’s lives, Anthony Justin Zafra is an advocate for all clients regardless of demographic factors and emphasize the importance of help-seeking for all.
